Infrastructure Engineer
Infrastructure Engineers work within our Digital and Change services directorate
What's the purpose of this role?
Infrastructure Engineers deliver both day to day and strategic management of the charity’s technical infrastructure ensuring appropriate and agreed levels of capacity, availability, and performance are delivered. They identify and understand key drivers of future change ensuring the IT requirements align with the strategy and long term plans of the charity.
Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for the charity’s technical infrastructure and technical guidance for: network, telephony, server infrastructure, data storage, technical disaster recovery and 3rd party supplier escalation and service management.
They deliver technical support and to contribute to large scale project delivery across the organisation’s technical infrastructure.
