Chief Executive

I joined StepChange in 2017 and have over 25 years’ experience working at an Executive level across both for-profit and non-profit organisations. I am also a Chartered Accountant, qualified treasurer, and Chartered Marketer.

As the Chief Executive at StepChange, my role is to work with the charity’s Trustees and lead our Executive team and colleagues to ensure the charity is achieving its strategic aims and objectives. I’m also a representative for the charity when building external relationships, working with partners and regulators, making media appearances, and more.

I honestly believe I have the best job in the world at StepChange, and it’s wonderful being able to make a true difference to so many people. From early interventions, to debt advice, to policy and campaigning work – StepChange takes a thorough and well-rounded approach to creating a society free from problem debt. Through the dedication and passion of our colleagues, which I see every single day, we work together to make a positive impact.
