Do you enjoy collaborating on social strategy, and building structured content plans that align with audience needs and campaign priorities?

Are you confident working with a range of stakeholders, translating objectives into engaging social content and reporting back on impact in a clear, meaningful way?

Are you excited by turning performance data into clear insights that shape smarter social media decisions?

We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Executive to join our Product & Marketing team. If you’re someone who loves turning strategy into standout social content — and can back it up with clear performance insight — this could be the role for you. You’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering our activity across priority channels and emerging platforms, helping us grow awareness, deepen engagement and drive meaningful results.

What you’ll be doing

As our Senior Social Media Executive, you’ll lead the planning and day-to-day delivery of our social media activity, turning strategy into structured, high-quality content that aligns with wider marketing goals. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and stakeholders across the charity, you’ll manage the content calendar, spot campaign opportunities, develop our presence on new platforms, and ensure everything we publish is on-brand, accessible and compliant.

You’ll use performance data and insight to continually optimise activity, aligning paid and organic approaches and reporting clearly on impact. As the main point of contact for social media, you’ll oversee monitoring and engagement, support crisis communications if needed, and line manage a Social Media Executive — keeping our channels organised, effective and always improving.

About you

You’ll bring proven experience delivering multi-channel social content in a brand, charity or agency setting, with a strong grasp of platforms, trends and what drives performance. You’re confident thinking about strategy and turning it into structured content plans, writing sharp copy, briefing creative assets and working comfortably within approval processes in a regulated environment.

Organised and proactive, you’re used to juggling stakeholder requests, using analytics to shape smarter decisions and aligning paid and organic activity for maximum impact. Experience with social listening tools and paid social would be an advantage, and if you’ve managed someone before, even better. Most importantly, you’re collaborative, with great stakeholder management skills, insight-driven and motivated by creating social content that genuinely makes a difference.

Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion

Equality, diversity, and inclusion are incredibly important to us; we have a culture of belonging. We’re always looking to increase the diversity of our workforce to ensure we can provide the best service possible for everyone. It’s not just about the professional experience you bring – we’re interested in who you are and your potential. If there’s an adjustment to our recruitment process that would help you to be your best, speak to our team and they’ll be happy to help.
